When Laurie said it was being worked on, finally, I stopped asking questions. I didn't ask about you, because as I'd already said in several replies to Laurie, you had laid out that you were doing training to fix things. Forget about reading between the lines - how about reading what's actually been said?

There was no vitriol in my first questions. Laurie acknowledged it. And this is after you and Terry were already threatening people if we wanted to actually know how our safety was being addressed. The history this place has, I'd expect no more from anyone who is having powers issues that could put people at risk. YOU made this personal. And you treated it like a joke when there's a number of folks here who have good reasons for being uncomfortable with the idea of ANYONE being able to control them. I'd have the same reaction if one of the telepaths announced they were having control issues. And just because you're one of the mysterious spy people doesn't mean I have to take your vague-ass "hey, it's cool, it's being handled" as the final word. From one of the people with "knowledge and experience" sure, but not from someone who seems to think the whole thing is some kind of hilarious sexcapade.

All this is moot, any way. The problem is being handled and I sure as fuck will be making sure I don't cross paths with either of you.

If I was actually nonchalant about what happened I wouldn't have bothered announcing it at all. I didn't give details beyond "it's being handled" because that's all that most of you need to know. It was good enough for my boss, so it should be good enough for you.

Falling apart has never been my first response to a problem. I'd apologize for not giving your preferred trauma response, but mine is better.

There are rooms to contain people who are having issues that make them a danger to the rest of the mansion. I would literally request use of it if I thought this was more than a one-off issue. One of the most powerful telepaths in the world is in charge of the medical lab, but they can all make that call. We have not been told we need to use it. You'll have to decide whether or not you trust their combined professional experience or not, since you're doing me the favor of staying away.

I'm pretty sure the only threat I made was that I'd have words with people for giving her a hard time. Note that I ignored your first query, because you were asking good questions. It is the continued prying and increasing hostility that I am taking you to task over, despite being given a full answer the first time. You seem very determined to pick apart everything Lo says, and I am telling you to stop. You have more details than you need and no reason to interact with either of us.

For the record, I didn't threaten anyone who might want to know how their safety was being addressed. I said I'd have a few words for anyone giving Darcy and Laurie shite about a powers slip. That being said, you didn't give either of them shite, regardless of what the conversations have deteriorated into now. I apologise that I made it seem otherwise, but safety in general's of the utmost importance to me and I'm glad you were able to get the clarification you needed.
